Title:  Recruitment Executive

Hours: Full Time

The Optical Express Recruitment team is located at our state of the art clinic in the City Centre of Glasgow and due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced head-hunter Recruitment Executive to join our team.

 

The Recruitment Executive will build relationships with both the regional clinical teams and regional hiring managers in order to understand and actively recruit quickly and effectively whilst providing a 1st class experience.

 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of executive searches/head-hunting within an in-house or agency recruitment role. They will have a strong working knowledge of recruitment processes, headhunting methods and excellent customer / candidate focus skills. They will need to have robust analytical skills and be able to provide resolutions to problems that they will encounter. The ability to react quickly and positively to change would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Sourcing candidates by head hunting for all active roles
  • Arranging and managing interviews  
  • Regular communication to candidates in process and also to our on-hold talent pool
  • Pre-screen all candidates via telephone before arranging face to face interviews
  • Prepare candidates prior to interview on what to expect / required information 
  • Review internal and external candidate databases daily for quality talent
  • Administration duties including; right to work documentation, verification of qualifications, DBS checks and reference checking 
  • Update our online ATS with all candidate communication and data
  • Ensure all records are kept in line with legal legislative requirements
  • Carry out work instructions in line with Key Processes 
  • Any other duties as required
  • Ensure that your dress code matches the company guidelines and expectations for a professional position

Essential Skills

  • Must have strong head hunting / direct approach experience
  • Excellent job ownership / management experience
  • Good experience of working in an in-house or agency recruitment environment
  • A firm understanding of the recruitment sector and the challenges faced by professionals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Adaptable with a flexible approach to work 
  • Strong experience of Social Media recruitment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
  • A confident and professional individual who has fantastic organisational skills
  • An articulate and presentable candidate is essential
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, (IELTS grade 6 or above)
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Demonstrate confidentiality, integrity and discretion
