Receptionist - Shaftesbury Avenue

 

We are currently looking to recruit a Receptionist to work in our laser eye surgery consultation clinic based in our Shaftesbury Avenue Clinic. The Receptionist will work as part of a team to provide a high level of service to the patients and staff and they should have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment. This role is a key part of the patient journey and requires very high personal standards to deliver a quality of care and outstanding customer service.

 

Optical Express surgeons have performed more than 1 million eye surgery procedures in the UK and over 2 million eye surgery procedures worldwide. In a survey of 292,408 Optical Express patients, 99% told us they would recommend us to their family and friends. Globally, our ophthalmic surgeons have a combined surgical experience of over 1,000 years practising ophthalmology and over 700 years performing eye surgery. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Main Duties and key responsibilities:

 

  • You will be responsible for covering the reception area
  • Maintaining a priority for incoming calls
  • To take clear and concise messages and communicate all messages promptly and accurately
  • Provide admin support to the Manager
  • Maintain stationary stocks and oversee the ordering of new supplies
  • To work as a positive team player

Minimum Requirements

Experience Requirements:


This role requires a confident and professional individual who has fantastic organisational skills

  • Previous reception experience essential
  • An articulate and presentable candidate is essential
  • Computer skills would be an advantage
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Extremely professional approach to work
  • The ability to multi-task (an advantage)
  • Demonstrate confidentiality, integrity and discretion
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to work and have a ‘can do’ attitude
