The role of a Patient Advisor/Optical Advisor within Optical Express offers you the chance to work in fast moving professional environment. You will be responsible for taking the patient through their journey, building rapport quickly, listening to their requirements whilst delivering exceptional customer service at all times.Everyday will bring something new but your day to day role will involve:

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Use your customer service skills and influencing skills to advise patients on the most suitable and appropriate solution for their needs.
  • Liaising with our clinics in identifying suitable availability for the surgeons to carry out these procedures on patients
  • Providing a second to none service to the patient in understanding their needs and requirements when arranging location and times for surgery
  • Maintain and develop key relationships with the clinics to ensure we are maximising opportunities in arranging patient procedures
  • Collecting balances and processing finance applications for patients looking to pay for their procedure
  • Ensuring regular contact in place with the patient after treatment is arranged and also prior to attending surgery.
  • Accurately maintain and update computerised diary management system for both clinics and the patient.


Minimum Requirements

We are looking for applicants who have a passion for providing world class customer service, strong organisational and communication skills, the ability to influence, the ability to build excellent relationships at all levels over the phone and across the business
