Job Title: Patient Advisor/Senior Sales Associate

Hours: Full Time 40hrs

Salary: £Excellent Salary + Great Bonus & Benefits

Location: Shaftesbury Avenue

 

The Patient Advisor is the Senior Sales Advisor in our Clinic based in Shaftesbury Avenue. They are customer facing and are required to sell the benefits of a refractive procedure such as Laser Eye Surgery or Intra-Occular Lens to new or existing Optical Express patients and customers. Working to challenging but attainable targets, the Sales Advisor will follow our Company patient journey and counselling script with every patient to comply with key regulations involved in these procedures. As well as Laser Eye Surgery and IOL procedures, the Senior Sales Advisors will also sell the benefits of purchasing glasses or contact lenses with Optical Express compared to their current provider. Building rapport, and identifying customer needs, they will use their influencing skills to achieve a successful sale.

 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within a Sales / Retail and/or Healthcare sector. They will have a strong working knowledge of a commercial sales environment and possess excellent customer focus skills coupled with an ability to generate sales. They will need to have robust analytical skills and be able to provide resolutions to problems that they will encounter. Our training & induction programme is designed to give you the skills and technical ability to succeed in the role, as well as keeping you fully informed on competitors, the marketplace and the key factors that will help deliver your sales.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

In addition you may have had experience in the following roles: Optical Advisor, Retail Associate, Medical Sales, Retail Management, Customer Services, Telesales, Junior Management roles, Team Leader, Supervisor, Sales Representative, retail sales, pharmacy sales roles.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • To do ‘three way’ handovers according to protocol
  • To contact every Patient with a courtesy call prior to their appointment
  • To accurately maintain all manual and computerised customer records in accordance with Data Protection
  • To maximise conversion opportunities with the patients to our premier treatments
  • Maintaining an up to date knowledge on all products and associated key features and benefits
  • To keep accurate Patient records and to manage, engage and convert suitable patients who did not book the procedure on the day
  • Influence and advise potential patients on the most suitable and appropriate solution for their needs
  • Work closely with other store associates to achieve overall store objectives
  • Administrative duties such as stock ordering & stock checking
  • To assist in the running of the store / Clinic, answering the telephone and general reception duties as required
  • To maximise sales by actively targeting potential customers out with the store or shopping centre with promotional material or other means deemed appropriate by the Store /Clinic Manager
  • To ensure adherence to all company policy / procedure and relevant legislation in all areas of work
